ATLAS INTERNATIONAL FACILITIES
Atlas International maintains an office in Beijing, China with three full time employees, one office manager and two quality engineers. With a presence in China, our office manager assures continuous communication with source foundries for order placement and timely deliveries. Our two quality engineers travel throughout China visiting source foundries to inspect first article parts as well as maintaining quality during production.
Our personnel have surveyed over 50 foundries in China, India, and Korea. We currently have approved over 10 sources for castings in China, 2 in India, and 3 in Korea. These sources use several molding processes including Investment, Lost Wax, Shell, No-Bake Floor, No-Bake Loop Line, Permanent, and Die Cast.
Castings received in Tacoma are inspected using the non-destructive equipment at the Tacoma facility. If requested, castings can be warehoused at our Tacoma Warehouse facility. This includes a 20,000 square foot warehouse as well as a gated storage yard. Inventories can be maintained at the warehouse and distributed directly to the customers requested destination. Additional upgrading, machining, or assembly can also be performed.
