Atlas Castings & Technology produces cast parts in a size range from 500 to 38,000 pounds in over 100 different alloys of carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel and nickel base material. Founded in 1899, the company now occupies 18 acres with over 500,000 square feet of manufacturing space. Primary markets include pump, valve, turbine, compressor, nuclear, Navy Shipbuilding and offshore oil drilling. Atlas' extensive facilities and technical expertise are designed to provide customers with cost effective solutions to metal manufacturing projects.
Concurrent engineering support is provided via Pro/Engineer® and MAGMASOFT® solidification modeling.
Besides castings, Atlas capabilities include fabrication, machining, heat treating and nondestructive examination.
Atlas certifications include ISO 9001, ASME Quality System Certificate #QSC 204, Navships 250-1500, Lloyds Register, MIL STD 248, and MIL-S-23008 D for HY80, HY100.
