Atlas Castings and Technology currently produces over 100 different alloys of carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel and nickel base material. Using Arc Furnaces to melt and an AOD (Argon Oxygen Decarburization) vessel to refine the metal, Atlas makes metal castings that meet requirements of ASTM, ASME, Military, as well as many special customer specifications.

The metallurgical laboratory at Atlas Castings and Technology is equipped to test chemistry, tensile and yield strengths, ductility, Charpy V-notch impact, hardness, bend test, metallography, and drop weight tests. All equipment calibration is traceable to NIST standards.
